Ant Yapi's Park Modern - From the ground up

Park Modern is Ant Yapi’s most recent ground breaking project currently under construction in Central London. The Construction project is one of Ant Yapi’s most prestigious whilst being valued at £100M for clients Fenton Whelan & Cheyne Capital.

The Park Modern build has so far been on track within the prescribed timelines in the journey to complete this project, most notably was the completion of the two subterranean basement levels within the building which includes the car parking garage and building facilities.

Over the course of 12 months the ground was prepared alongside structural engineers to ensure the structural integrity against the vibration of nearby London Underground lines. In order to accomplish the dig out we used 3 cranes to ensure the smooth and fast dig out of 3 floors (6m) for a total 18m deep, piled + rise etc to (the process).

With the completion of the basement levels we’re now moving forward with 2 cranes and the starting of the dry lining within those levels and work soon to start on the ground floor; we’re pleased to announce the further construction of the 9 floors by establishing the frame of the building through contractors Modebest and the continuation of the facade works by FP McCann. Following on from this are the electrical & mechanical works that are in time with the according schedule.

In order for the Park Modern construction to move so rapidly we have anywhere from 20-150 workers on site alongside 30 white collar architects, engineers, logistics staff based in the site office due to our role as principal contractor. We’re also proud to announce that we have a stellar health & safety record with 0 riddors and ensure that rigorous health & safety procedures being observed by all staff members.
